FRECKLE TATTOO
WHAT IS FRECKLE TATTOING?
Freckle tattoos are a cosmetic tattoo where carefully selected warm tones of ink are implanted into the skin to add and create a sun kissed youthful look.
For the freckles I manually place the ink into the skin, known as hand poking. The ink is specifically placed into the most upper layers of the skin so as the tattoo is able to soften over time with the skins natural exfoliation process.
Freckles are placed most commonly to the cheeks, nose, and brow area. They can also be placed on the lips shoulders and collarbone or wherever you desire. Enhancing your natural sun kissed skin or just adding a little dash designed specifically to you, I work with you to design your perfect look.
Only one session is needed to create each level of coverage, however multiple sessions are a beautiful way to achieve an ultra realistic and natural layered look over time if you would like to build your coverage gradually.
WHICH LEVEL OF COVERAGE IS SUITED TO ME?
DUSTING

This is a good level if you are just looking for a delicate sprinkle over the nose area.
LIGHT COVERAGE

The perfect coverage for over the nose and delicately sprinkling onto the cheeks.
MEDIUM COVERAGE

Good for those who like coverage on the nose cheeks and some extra sprinkles or mini clusters on some other areas of the face such as the forehead, chin, or lips.
HEAVY COVERAGE

This coverage is a fun mix of all of the above, a bold smattering on the nose, cheeks, forehead, chin, lips - wherever your sun kissed heart desires.

Reservation deposits are taken at the time of your booking to secure your appointment. The remaining will be paid on the day of your appointment.
Booking fees are non refundable. Appointments can be moved once with a minimum of 72 hours notice, changes within this time frame will require a new booking fee.

HOW LONG DO THE FRECKLE TATTOOS LAST?

This is very dependant on each individual, taking into consideration skin types and how you look after the tattoo this includes how you adhere to the aftercare when healing and once healed - both very important to the life of your tattoo.​
Generally the timeframe is around 1 to 2 years, however I prefer not to put a time on deciding if you need a colour refresh and rather ask each person to gauge this by how the colour is softening over time.

HOW DO I KNOW WHEN TO BOOK IN FOR A COLOUR REFRESH?

When your freckles are either 50% or more faded, Or if you are looking to build upon the level of coverage you already have.

Refresh and builder appointments are available to existing clients, if you have existing work from elsewhere please get in touch via email or through the contact page to see if I am able to work with your existing tattoo.
You are ready for your refresh when your tattoo is feeling as though it is lacking in saturation. I do not recommend adding pigment to the skin too soon.
For all tattooing 72 business hours notice is required if you decide to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Failure to do so could result in a lost deposit.
Deposits are non-refundable.

No botox or filler near the eyebrow or eye area 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
